Programme Highlights

As the Innovation and Technology (I&T) facilitator for the Hong Kong Government, EMSD has implemented a series of initiatives to drive I&T development, including setting up an E&M InnoZone and E&M InnoFoyer at the EMSD HQs. The E&M InnoZone showcases many exciting, interactive I&T projects that are the outcome of EMSD’s I&T collaboration with academic institutions and research institutions in Hong Kong. The exhibits cover the application of Internet of Things (IoT), automation, artificial intelligence and energy efficiency technologies. The aim is to pool together local I&T efforts, accelerate the implementation and testing of innovative E&M solutions from universities and start-ups. Besides, the E&M InnoFoyer, opened since Aug 2021, showcases an array of award-winning, E&M related I&T projects that are closely related to the daily lives of the people. Visitors can learn about how I&T applications help create a safe and energy-efficient smart living environment.

This technical visit is free of charge. Number of participants is limited to 35 and applications will be accepted on a first-come-first-served basis.
