Technical Webinar: Sharing of Faster Travel through Multilane Free Flow Tolling System

Programme Highlights:

 

Free-Flow Tolling Service enables the motorists to pay tunnel tolls more efficiently and helps improve the traffic conditions of tunnels.  Free-flow tolling system (FFTS) is planned to be rolled out at government tolled tunnels to elevate motorist experience with faster, safer travel and smooth traffic.  This webinar will focus on technical considerations and challenges arise in designing of FFTS especially for the highly condensed urban areas, as well as the further development for the integration with Smarty City.

Speakers

Ir. Shirley LAU and Mr. Jonathan CHIK

 

Ir. Shirley LAU, Technical Director of WSP (Asia) Limited, MHKIE (L&T), Master of Science in Transportation Engineering. Ms. Lau has over 15 years of worldwide experience in ITS and traffic system projects. She had worked in California prior to Hong Kong that involved operation & management of major highway infrastructures.

 

Mr. Jonathan CHIK, Associate of WSP (Asia) Limited, MPhil in Electronics Engineering, specialised in system designs. Mr. CHIK has over 8 years of experiences in the design of network and communication systems for traffic systems and other related ICT projects.
