This technical visit will be divided into two parts:-

Part 1 - Presentation on the Integrated Surveillance & Operation Center (ISOC) of HKT and the philosophy, methodology and tools of the operation excels..

Part 2 - Visit the ISOC, the Cable Chamber and the HKT’s Strowger model exchange where you can appreciate the first generation of automatic telephone exchange and can “see” how a telephone call can be connected from the calling party to the called party.

Presentation will be in Cantonese.

This technical visit is free of charge. Number of participant is limited to 30 and applications will be accepted on a first-come- first-served basis.  For registration, please apply on or before 11 March 2017 via the website of IT Division (http://it.hkie.org.hk). Successful applicants will be notified the exact assembly point and time for the visit through e-mail on or before 13 March 2017.
